ANDRIANI EDUCATIONAL: INNOVATIVE SCHOOL PROGRAMMES FOR SUSTAINABLE FOOD EDUCATION.
Andriani confirms its commitment to innovation also in the world of education by developing programmes on sustainable food for schools across Italy as part of its Educational project.
La magia dei legumi (Magic of Pulses) is the food education programme dedicated to young school children and promoted by Andriani S.p.A. Società Benefit, the Gravina in Puglia-based corporation that thanks to its vision and capabilities has reached the top of the food innovation sector.
Through the Andriani Educational project, the company aims to encourage healthy and sustainable food choices among the youngest generations, in line with its role as promoter of a culture focused on individual, environmental, and social well-being.
Even during lockdown, when children spent a long period away from school, with La magia dei legumi Andriani Educational kept engaging with students allowing them to follow and take part in a number of digital initiatives.
During the first two years, 670 primary school children across Puglia got involved in the project.
Over the past year, thanks to the collaboration with Rete Dialogues for global citizenship education, the programme has been digitally optimized and expanded nationally offering, thanks to the Internet, constant support from tutors and experts, allowing sharing among teachers, and providing learning kits to all participants.
