Aqueduct Bridge

A symbol of the town, the Aqueduct Bridge has a double-arched construction and was built as a viaduct for water supply to part of the town. It has connected the two sides of the canyon since 1881.

Medieval Rampart

The Rampart is what remains of the 16th century city walls, and connects the Sant’Andrea neighbourhood to the aqueduct bridge, offering everyone who walks along it a wonderful view of the gorge.

Our Lady of the Star

The hill of Botromagno, near the “Padre Eterno” archeological site, was given this name because a Madonna and Child with a star on her forehead was found inside.

Cathedral Basilica

A small basilica dedicated to Santa Maria Assunta, built in the 11th century and expanded in the 15th century. The three naves, divided by columns all with different capitals, house a series of marble altars from the 18th century. You can admire the baptismal font, a statue of St. Michael from 1538, a walnut choir from the late 16th century, a stone altarpiece from the 15th century, and a huge organ with 2135 pipes. The ceiling is made from gilded wood and enriched with 5 paintings.

Church of Madonna delle Grazie

The Church of Madonna delle Grazie was built as a Marian shrine, and is known for its facade. It features the emblem of the family of Bishop Vincenzo Giustiniani, who built the church in 1602 at his own expense.

The Clock Tower

The Clock Tower is a neo-Gothic tower built on the city walls near the Orsini Ducal Palace. A clock was built onto it in 1892 that still works today, marking the time with four quadrants.
